Our Floors are good for the Planet… And great for the washing up!
The cork used to make our floors, while growing as bark on a cork oak tree, will have removed many times its own weight in CO2 from our atmosphere.
The hard floor that isn’t too hard.
Like most hard floors, ours are hard-wearing, easy to clean and don’t harbour dust and mites like carpet can.
Unlike most hard floors, ours are also flexible and resilient, which means that if you drop a glass or a cup while drying up, it’s more likely to bounce than to smash.
Also, as kids will confirm, our floors are nicer to play on than ordinary hard floors. When used in shops and offices, people find our floors less tiring after a day’s work. And when you lay a cork floor at home, it’s more welcoming, more relaxing and more natural. You could think of it as a reward for helping the planet.
