Q. What helps the planet and also keeps your feet warm?
A. A cork floor

All our floors begin life as the bark of our cork oak trees.
Cork oak trees live for up to 200 years, taking in and storing CO2 all that time. We harvest their bark many times during the life of each tree and every time we do this, the tree becomes even more efficient at taking in CO2.
This means that our All-Cork Wood or Cork Design floors, whatever their colour or finish, have a negative carbon balance. Every plank or tile has removed up to 13 times its own weight of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.
The nicest hard floor to walk on.
Hard floors are hard-wearing, easy to clean and don’t harbour dust and mites like carpet can. But you wouldn’t say they’re warm and comfy. Unless, that is, you were talking about our cork floors.
Our floors are flexible and resilient. They feel cosy and comfortable underfoot and, as kids will confirm, they’re nicer to play on. When used in shops and offices, people find our floors less tiring after a day’s work. And when you lay one of our floors at home, it’s more welcoming, more relaxing, warmer and more natural. You could think of it as a reward for helping the planet.
Love your planet. Love cork floors!
